Benefits of boys’ gymnastics classes.

Gymnastics classes can provide your child with a number of physical benefits, regardless of the child’s age or ability. Gymnastics will increase strength, flexibility, endurance and coordination. They will learn balance on the beam, as well as power when they vault. The bars and rings will encourage them to lift, swing and move their bodies in new ways. USA Gymnastics points out that gymnastics classes can help train children for any other sport they choose to pursue, as they get older. The athletic foundation is put in place via gymnastics classes.

Rhythmic Gymnastics

What is Rhythmic Gymnastics

A Team That Loves Grace and Beauty

So you can better understand, rhythmic gymnastics is much more than flips. We usually describe it as a combination of ballet and gymnastics. If you’ve ever watched the Olympics, maybe you’ve seen it. During our rhythmic practices, the athletes do a combination of dance steps, flexibility skills, balances, turns, and leaps in a routine to music, all the while handling an apparatus. There are six different apparatuses that you can use in rhythmic. They are ribbon, clubs, rope, ball, hoop, and floor.

Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport that develops “everything”: flexibility,
strength, coordination, beauty, self-confidence, mental power
and discipline in a safe, injury-free environment.  From kids point of view, it’s simple: BECAUSE IT’S FUN!

Positive Benefits of Rhythmic Gymnastics
  • Low Risk
  • Develop physical fitness, eye-hand and foot eye coordination, motor skills, rhythm.
  • Develops Life Skills: self-confidence, teamwork, responsibility, goal-setting, sportsmanship and friendship.
  • Fun and Beneficial:  We have observed over the years that Rhythmic Gymnastics gently sculpts the young girl’s body and mind into a lean graceful, poised, confident young woman. The Rhythmic Gymnastics equipment automatically corrects the body posture and the proper basic technique in children as young as three years old. For instance, if they do not straighten their knees, the ball will not roll on their legs. They don’t even notice that they are exercising or learning new skills.
  • It’s Engaging:  Though Ballet is the foundation of the sport, for many young preschool-age children, it is often difficult for very active children to do repetitive barre work. Rhythmic gymnastics offers the chance to develop those skills while also being able to have more dynamic movement as well as utilize hand apparatus to help develop grace, coordination, strength and flexibility.
  • It Develops Creativity, Musicality, & Artistry: Because music is such a regular part of the sport (used for all routines), rhythmic gymnastics offers a nice opportunity to develop musicality. Rhythmic has not only the athletic aspects, but also has the creative process of finding music that matches the athlete, choreographing the routine to interpret and express that piece of music and finally to creating a leotard
and equipment that finishes this piece of art. It is an all-inclusive form of the arts: music, movement, design. This makes it different from other sports, from ballet or from acrobatics as it combines aspects from all.
  • It Develops a Lasting Base: Rhythmic trains your body in ways that will always be beneficial. Not only being used to “work out” every day so that this is just part of your life, but Rhythmic is also a wonderful base for any sport you might want to choose during adulthood or earlier. Rhythmic gymnasts are also great track athletes, rock climbers or dancers (of course). It’s not only a great sport for fine and gross motor skills, but it trains coordination as well because we add the apparatus.
Aerobic Gymnastics

Why Aerobic Gymnastics

Let’s keep it simple…

Aerobic Gymnastics emphasizes the ability to perform continuous, complex, and high-intensity movement patterns to music, which originate from traditional aerobic exercises. The routine must demonstrate continuous movement, flexibility, strength, and the utilization of the seven basic Aerobic steps, all perfectly executed and including different elements of difficulty.
